School Complaints Procedure

Parkwood Academy
Parkwood Academy values the importance of a robust complaints procedure to ensure a transparent and effective communication channel for parents, students, and staff. Our aim is to resolve any concerns promptly and fairly, fostering an open dialogue within our school community. This procedure outlines the steps for raising complaints, ensuring that each concern is carefully considered and addressed in accordance with our commitment to continuous improvement.

For detailed information about the process, including who to contact at each level, please refer to our full complaints procedure outlined in the relevant section of our website. Your feedback is crucial in helping us maintain a supportive environment for all.

We encourage open communication and work with our families as most concerns can be nipped in the bud at the classroom level. If you are unable to resolve your concerns with the class teacher, the phase leader would be your next port of call. After this, concerns would go to the Deputy Headteacher before reaching the Headteacher. This would complete stage one of the complaints process. For further information, please see our complaints policy:

Parkwood Academy is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. As part of our commitment to transparency, we encourage families to familiarise themselves with the school complaints procedure. This procedure outlines the steps for addressing any concerns that may arise, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued within our community.

If you have any questions or require assistance with the complaints process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our dedicated staff who are here to help. Your partnership is vital in creating a positive learning experience for all children at Parkwood.
