Meet our Maths Lead
Mrs Vikram, our dedicated Maths Lead at Parkwood Academy, is genuinely passionate about ensuring every child, from Nursery through to Year 6, develops a strong and confident mathematical understanding. Under her enthusiastic guidance, we implement the Maths Mastery programme across the school, aiming for every single pupil to leave Parkwood as a true “Maths Master!” To further strengthen core skills, specific year groups also supplement this with the Mastery in Number initiative, which builds a robust, all-encompassing foundation in number concepts. Beyond leading these core programmes, Mrs Vikram diligently oversees crucial mathematical milestones, including the statutory multiplication tables check for our Year 4 children and the significant Year 6 SATs, ensuring all our pupils are supported to achieve their absolute best.
