Mrs. Cheema, our enthusiastic History leader at Parkwood Academy, is incredibly passionate about the subject and her enthusiasm is contagious. She is dedicated to ensuring that every child not only gains a deep understanding of historical events but also develops a curiosity for historical investigations. Through engaging lessons and exciting hands-on activities, she inspires students to explore the past and its impact on the present, preparing them with valuable knowledge and critical thinking skills. The “Dinner Table” History Quiz
The Big Historical Discovery: “Which civilization did you learn about this week? If you could have one object that belonged to someone from that time and place, what would you choose?”
Historical Investigation: “If you were a historian and had to find out the truth about a famous event, what clues would you look for? (For example, diaries, old photos, or even artifacts dug up from the ground.)”
The “What If?” History Prediction: “We know that history sometimes repeats itself. Based on what you’ve learned about how a certain event turned out, how do you think a similar challenge in our world today will end?”
